Known for her compassionate approach, Dr. Buvaneswari has earned recognition as a leading obstetrician with a specialization in the treatment of recurrent miscarriages and high-risk pregnancies. Her primary focus revolves around Preventive Reproductive Genetics, a mission to safeguard the genetic legacy of future generations.
What truly sets her apart is her unwavering dedication to providing solutions for patients grappling with rare and seemingly insurmountable diseases. At present, she is at the forefront of pioneering a groundbreaking Uterine transplant program, offering hope to individuals born without a uterus or those who lost theirs at a young age. Additionally, her profound interest lies in the realm of Regenerative Medicine, particularly utilizing Stem Cells to assist individuals facing premature ovarian failure and Azoospermia (lack of sperm) in fulfilling their dreams of parenthood.
Dr. G Buvaneswari extends her expertise as a visiting consultant Gynecologist at several prestigious hospitals in our city. Her impressive track record includes the successful management of over 5000 cycles of IUI/IVF/ GIFT/ICSI, consistently achieving success rates well above industry standards. Her clientele encompasses intended parents from both India and abroad, and she holds the distinction of treating the first Russian couple to have a successful test-tube baby in Chennai, as well as the first Russian couple to welcome twins through IVF treatment.
Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Buvaneswari has been an integral part of infertility teams at esteemed institutions such as CMC Hospital, Vellore, CSI Rainy Hospital, Chennai, Apollo Hospital, Chennai, and Mothers Love International Fertility Centre & Research Foundation, Chennai.
Her unwavering commitment to excellence is underscored by her extensive training and expertise acquired from renowned medical centers worldwide. Notably, she attended the World's first Uterine Transplant summit at BAYLOR UNIVERSITY in Dallas, USA, in 2020.
As a prolific contributor to the field, Dr. Buvaneswari has presented numerous papers and posters at various infertility, Obstetrics, and Gynecology forums and conferences. She actively participates in professional organizations such as the Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry Chapter of the Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (TAPISAR), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecology Society (FOGSI), and Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR).
With a career spanning over three decades in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr. Buvaneswari possesses over two decades of expertise in treating infertile couples. She serves as a respected teaching faculty member for fellowship programs in reproductive medicine and continues to contribute as a visiting consultant at several leading hospitals in Chennai. Her extensive experience includes overseeing numerous cycles of IUI/IVF/GIFT/ICSI over the past decade, achieving an exceptional success rate of 70%, well above industry standards. She has played a pivotal role in obtaining NABH accreditation for her centers and actively facilitated a JCI audit for infertility services.
Furthermore, Dr. G Buvaneswari's commitment to serving the community is evident through her dedication to conducting free camps in collaboration with Rotary and other organizations.
