Hysteroscopic Tubal Cornual Cannulation
Fallopian tube cannulation is a surgical procedure aimed at treating women with subfertility (difficulty conceiving a pregnancy) with proximal tubal occlusion (blockage in the part of the fallopian tubes closest to the womb).
Risk Factors:
- Failure in making the fallopian tube functional.
- Pinhole tubal perforation, tubal dissection, or tear in the fallopian tube wall.
- Peritonitis, a life-threatening infection of the tissue covering organs in the belly.
