Life Saviour Award

Introduction

I am delighted to share that Dr. Lakshmi Seshadri, my esteemed professor and mentor, was honoured with the “Life Saviour Award” at a prestigious ceremony organised by the Rotary Club of Chennai Medical Fraternity (RI 3233—the only Rotary club in the world with all members as doctors) on August 25th.

Events

The event, held at Green Park Hotel, was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including DG Rtn. Mahaver Bothra, Dr. K. Narayanaswamy (Vice-Chancellor, TN Dr MGR Medical University), and other respected leaders in the medical community. Guests of Honour, Dr. Muruganathan, Member of the Tamil Nadu Medical Council & Past IMA President, and Dr. Abul Hasan, President of IMA Tamil Nadu, gave away the awards.

Award

This award is a testament to Dr. Lakshmi Seshadri Madam’s outstanding contributions and exemplary work in her field, and it was a privilege for me to nominate her for this recognition. The moment was made even more special as I had the honour of walking alongside my professor during the ceremony — a true highlight of the evening.

I am incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to contribute to this event and to celebrate the achievements of someone who has been a guiding light in my career. Congratulations once again to Madam and all the deserving awardees!
